Communities of Practice (CoP)

There is some uncertainty on how to evaluate the change process and outcomes in organizations. Our learning events offers change management practitioners opportunities to learn, analyze, and share valuable information to address changes in organizations.

• CoP on Organizational Change Management: This learning session will provide ACMP Alberta members opportunities to discuss and learn about proven change methodology/ models to apply when thinking about organizational change. The change management methodologies are introduced by members. The methodologies have some similarities and a few differences. The methodologies are both discrete and complementary. Information on other aspects of organizational change management to include diversity issues, improving change readiness, reducing resistance, and assessing proficiency and time aspect of change adoption are discussed.

• CoP on Change Metrics and Measurement: In this learning session, we explore ACMP Alberta members’ experiences with developing and applying change metrics and measurement practices in support of change management. The sessions are informal, discussion-oriented, and adaptive to participants’ areas of specific interest within the metrics and measurement practice domain. The intention of the session, by sharing learning from applied practice, is to give participants practical takeaways as well as allowing for the sharing of practice thinking and concepts.
