Axel is experienced in supporting teams and leaders through large scale organizational changes, systems implementations and reorganizations that have a transformational impact on the organization. He is passionate about building trusted relationships, finding common ground and increasing self-awareness to build change leadership. His background includes experience in software, IT services, municipal government and healthcare industries and consulting to clients in the alternative energy, logistics and service sectors.

Axel supports leaders in being effective through changes by enabling them and their teams to come together and model the way to be successful change leaders. He excels at facilitation, influencing and finding common ground while building trust. He encourages leaders to build a picture of the vision and look at the horizon to establish direction and goals. Using existing strengths to focus on positive outcomes, he supports leaders in modelling the behaviors needed to foster sustainable change in mindsets and behaviors. Axel obtained his MBA from the University of Calgary. Coaching work includes the Coaching out of the Box 5/5/5 skills program.
